Life's best lessons are learned from the trials and errors of yourself...and those around you. Hope you can learn from mine!
UH-MAZING Easter weekend at Grace!!! We had folks come to Christ, over 2,600 people come through the doors...and an awesome time as a church family celebrating the resurrection.
Our Sr. Pastor preached on Psalm 22 and the prophetic impact this passage of scripture had regarding the work of the cross. We also had over half of our vocal team onstage this week as well. Thanks to all who helped make the weekend such a HUGE success!!! This goes to our amazing team of people who put on the carnival and community egg hunt on Saturday.
What a GREAT weekend of worship at Grace this past weekend. We had TEN different channels this weekend. That's NINE worship team members (vocalists and instrumentalists) with a total of ten instruments. Played some violin, had some mandolin, had two acoustic guitars and an AMAZING SONG closing out the service. We closed the service out with the Gungor Band's song "Beautiful Things". The Grace family came this weekend singing loud...so loud I stopped at the intro of a song in second service because I was SHOCKED to hear them all singing...and I wanted to hear it again.
By the way...the first Sunday of every month is "OWNit365.com" day at Grace. That means wear your shirt and wear it with pride. I had on one of the new red hooded sweatshirts you can purchase at the info center.

W O W. What a weekend! Did some changing on the song "How He Loves Us" straying from the Crowder Band version and doing a bit of a hybrid taking the slide guitar from John Mark McMillan's album "The Medicine". Sam did GREAT nailing it. We also had Caleb Theriot on the stage with the worship team for the first time! This high school youth is an official part of the band on rotation with the electric guitarists. He's all growed up!!! Excellent job this morning Caleb!!! Kudos to Tony and Gina for bringing a powerful reflective version of Kari Jobe's song, "The More I Seek You".
