Celebrating a day early this year. Today I received a nice gift card to Best Buy since I'd mentioned to my family that I'd been needing a new bag for my notebook.
I trekked out the nearest store and stood at the computer bag aisle for probably 20 minutes. I couldn't bring myself to spend $60 for a bag...even though it was a gift card. After testing several bags by walking up and down the aisle looking for the appropriate look and feel, I settled for one I'm very pleased with. Nothing flashy, but just the right amount of space and just the right room. After this I had some leftover cash on the card....which meant a walk down the video game aisle.
Got myself a new Wii game. It ROCKS! Marvel Ultimate Alliance will be spinning
in my Wii tonight...hopefully not too late.
Being a father brings me much more joy than pretending to be any video game super hero. To my girls...I'm honored to be your Father and thank God every day for the privilege to be your Daddy. I pray that I will be used by God to show you the love of the Father in your life as much as you've already shown me.
