What a year! This year I thought I'd post five things I'm looking forward to in 2008 and five things I'm NOT looking forward to. Here's my list:
Looking forward to in '08
- Transformed lives at Grace Church. So many new friends and acquaintances in 2007 who have joined the church. I'm looking forward to seeing what God does at our church in 2008.
- Posh goes to Kindergarten. Yeah...my middle child enters school in August 2008.
- 13 years. My thirteenth year with m'lady.
- Parent's book. A publisher just signed my folks on for a book about my Dad's life. Look for it in late '08. I'm sure I'll post about it when it hits the bookshelves.
- Clone Wars & Indiana Jones. The new animated series is supposedly going to make it's debut in movie theaters this summer. We'll see about that. If not...it'll be here in the fall. And Indy's back May of '08!
NOT looking forward to in '08
- Presidential Election. I am already tired of the silliness. Not a one jumps out at me. I can't stand the thought of some of these politicians being the leader of the free world in such a time as this. Ah well...God's got a plan no matter who's in office.
- Posh goes to Kindergarten. I can't imagine two of my kids in school. Only one baby left.
- Getting older. In April I will once again be the same age as my wife.
- My oldest gets older. Seriously...NINE?!?! That's only seven years away from driving age.
- Presidential Election. Yeah...I am doubly not looking forward to this in '08.
There's my quicklist. What about yours?
