This past Easter at Grace we did some creative things that created a lot of work for many volunteers. The thing I love about the people I serve with is that in spite of the "work", it's always viewed as "opportunity". Everything from the lights, to live painting onstage, to video, vocals, band...so many people jumping on the chance to share the gospel with so many.
One of the people I want to share with the world who I think is SUPER COOL is Stacy Parker. I mention Easter because she was a HUGE part of making it happen. I love Stacey's heart to serve behind the scenes every week from helping coordinate the lighting on their team, to directing the worship services by helping manage the flow of the services to even playing the bagpipes when called upon. That's right...she played the bagpipes during our Easter services and did a phenomanal job! She was at all three on Saturday and all three on Sunday. Many of those services involved her taking off the headset from directing services then walking onstage to play Amazing Grace during the message on bagpipes. She is the epidemy of what it means to live a Romans 12:1 life continually giving her talents and herself in service to Christ. Thank you Stacey for being such a HUGE blessing to Grace Church!
If you see Stacey this week, please tell her she's SUPER COOL!!!!
